This Sechelt Inlet project is a complete reimagining of a 1970s cabin, guided by the creative vision of homeowners. Their passion shaped every detail—from preserving and limbing the towering fir and cedar trees to open the inlet views, to infusing the home with the relaxed, modern energy of their favourite travel destinations. We maintained the original structure, added a defined entry overlooking a fish pond, and reused materials like the weathered cedar shakes, textured amber glass, and relocated entry door to honour the home’s past. Tall windows, multi-slide doors, and a custom cabana pool house create effortless indoor-outdoor living, while restored family furnishings and a sculptural cedar-clad loft ceiling bring warmth and personality to the interior.
