Established in 2018, Romain is a Montreal-based company dedicated to custom cabinetry and design. Romain B-Martineau, designer and cabinetmaker, began this journey after 10 years of extensive experience. It was after various undertakings in the field, three years of work in Quebec companies, followed by two years in England and two years in Honduras, that his professional background was built. The moment to take his passion to a new level had arrived and a company was created. Out of all his practice, these are the most significant experiences throughout his journey. Starting in Quebec in high-end residential planning , he acquired specialised techniques. Eventually in England, he was able to interact with authentic European styles, from Victorian to Modern. In London he developed a concept for end-grain cutting boards, which in time, flourished into Boardchop .
