OlaNest is a free directory that connects homeowners in Canada with local home service contractors. Search 73 trades across 10 provinces, 3 territories and 623 cities, then contact the contractor yourself using the phone number and website on their profile.
A directory, not a middleman
OlaNest does not quote work, schedule jobs, or take a cut of what you pay. It is not a party to any agreement you make with a contractor. That means no lead fees, no commission, and no one calling you back on a contractor’s behalf. You deal with them directly, from first message to final invoice.

What it costs
Free for homeowners: searching and contacting contractors costs nothing and needs no account. Contractors pay an annual fee to be listed, and every profile is reviewed before it appears.
How verification works
A licence badge on a profile means the licence number was checked against the provincial body that issued it. Requirements differ by province: construction work in Québec is governed by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec, and electrical work in Ontario by ESA/ECRA. A profile without a badge has not been through that check. That is not a claim that the contractor is unlicensed. Confirm any licence with the provincial body before you hire.
About ratings
Reviews come from signed-in homeowners, and a profile shows a rating only when real reviews stand behind it. Review volume is still low, so most profiles show no rating at all rather than a placeholder score.
