With over 150 years of combined plumbing and heating experience, J&R Mechanical Ltd. is Yellowknife’s longest running, locally owned and operated mechanical contractor. In 1976, Joe Chorostkowski and Ron Vanderlinde along with their wives Elise and Linda, started J&R Mechanical (incorporating in 1977). After many years of working together to create a successful business Ron and Linda left the north and Joe and Elise became sole owners in 1991. Today, J&R Mechanical is still a fully owned family business.
